Subject Objectives

  • To broaden students' perspectives by exploring topics ranging from personal to global issues, hence enhance their awareness towards individual lives while maintaining connections with the society and the world, thereby fostering their civic and national consciousness. 
  • To develop students' generic skills, enabling them to transcend disciplinary, geographical and informational boundaries, apply learning outcomes from various subjects and life experiences, and clarify the relationship between the individual and society, cultivating holistic thinking abilities. 
  • To nurture students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills, empowering them to form independent personal values, distinguish right from wrong, and use these principles as guidelines for their actions and worldview.
