Four Secondary 1 students participated in the overnight Student Gospel Camp organized by the Diocesan Youth Commission, Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong. The event, involving 10 parish schools, successfully concluded the afternoon at Wu Kai Sha Youth Village.
Engagement Highlights
Our students actively participated in diverse developmental activities including ice-breaking sessions, empathy-building workshops, biblical story film production, team collaboration challenges, nighttime sensory activities, and thanksgiving prayer services. Through these engagements, they took turns assuming leadership roles in group tasks and established new peer connections across participating schools.
Educational Outcomes
During reflective sessions, students examined connections between faith and daily life while exploring core values of Gospel teachings. This experiential learning environment fostered significant personal growth, with participants developing greater self-confidence and gaining valuable perspectives on spiritual development. The camp provided meaningful opportunities for holistic development through its carefully structured program.
